From Japan to Scandinavia, Áldomás, the new ‘secret weapon’ of the Hungarian National Trading House is set to conquer a number of international markets.

The second half of this year will see the beginning of the export of the Hungarian premium category foodstuffs under the Áldomás umbrella brand. In the first phase, a total of 30 products received entitlement to carry the brand. Led by the management of the Hungarian National Trading House (MNKH) the objective of the niche initiative realised as the result of broad professional unity is to allow international consumers get to know these Hungarian foodstuffs of excellent quality and beat the track for other Hungarian food brands to markets abroad.

The Hungarian National Trading House exhibited on a separate stall, where visitors were presented among others the new Hungarian umbrella brand for quality foodstuffs.

Visitors showed keen interest in top quality Hungarian food products exhibited at the International Food Fair in Budva. The Hungarian stall, jointly sponsored by the Hungarian National Trading House and Hungarian Tourism Ltd attracted many, while the organisers awarded it a special prize for most beautiful installation.

As a guest of honor, Hungary took part in Tavola in Belgium. Apart from the debut of the Áldomás umbrella brand, several Hungarian food industry companies exhibited their products. The event supplied proof of high demand for top quality and premium category Hungarian foodstuffs in Western Europe.
